2020 marks the end of a project that has been running for almost three years.
Four countries (Portugal, Denmark, Ireland and the Czech Republic) came together around a cause, the creation of a platform with materials to facilitate the teaching of a foreign language to migrants and refugees with limited educational background providing individuals with the skills they need to access work and services in host societies.
In order to facilitate the employability of these migrants, all classes were designed taking into account professional integration in the countries where they were hosted. Thus, using TBL and CLIL as teaching methodologies, more than one hundred vocational classes were designed, accompanied by various teaching materials, including worksheets and videos.
On January 22nd, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will host (in room 2) the We Are One International Presentation Conference where you can learn more about the materials created by this consortium and how they can be used.
